A month ago, on Valentine's Day 2.14, I announced my independence.
It was such a sudden decision, and I'm sure those of you who support me,

I have decided to start my own company.

Every year around this time I get mail from everyone saying

The other day, after my live was over my body didn't feel quite right so I went to the chiropracter and then I went to the gym, and after that contradictory schedule, I went to my very own brother, Gaku-ani's (1) live and I brought a long the head of the PS Young Employees Special Attack Unit, Tora. Gaku-ani has always asked me to come to his lives but so far I haven't really had the opportunity so this was my first time... For some reason, rather than watching a live it felt more like I was watching a movie, a truly wonderful story where and one by one, each of the messages is naturally incorporated into it. Regarding the direction of the entire production, it's still on tour so I can't say much, but during the making of it, occasionally we met and talked it over and to see it finally completed and made into a reality was rather deeply moving for me. After it was over, back in the dressing room he was exhausted but for the sake of delivering that fighting spirit to everyone, he said that he is completely committed to the rest of the remaining events scheduled so if there are any ko-Miyavi-chan who are going to go for it, please enjoy everything to its fullest kay.And so and so, Gaku-ani, you should take good care of your physical condition and throat too!! from ur BRO

Hey guys, I got my DVD a few weeks ago and it's the best thing ever so I wanted to share a bit of it with everyone. I made screenshots!

About 800 of them in fact. :D I took so many because I wanted to take lots of screenshots of the fans, so that you can see yourselves in case you managed to make it into the DVD! A friend of mine that attended the Barcelona concert was in the DVD, I'm so proud of her! xD That and, I took at least 50 screencaps of the part where Miyavi is crying. :D

Now, the Budokan live is over and,
My body ached a little so I went to an "esute" and I just got home. (2)

Today, half-way through I was pretty exhausted but it was still really really fun.

Although the truth is I really wanted to shake the concert hall more than Gazette. (laughs)
The sense of unity and power between the band and the audience, it was really impressive.
I better work hard too.

Of course, I learned a lot from all the other bands too.

And also, thank you to the PS indie bands, Kra, Kaggra and Alice Nine, who came out on stage during Ahou Matsuri.

Although I always act like your senpai [senior],
I know you are all working hard and have a lot of potential. (3)

I said this during the MC as well but all of us together in the same company, being able to celebrate the 10th anniversary,
I earnestly think that without the members, staff, everyone involved and of course the fans, none of this would be possible.

And then, personally for me, on this day, as a member of this company,
To be able to safely welcome and celebrate it, fills me with pride.

In relation to that, the things that I want to convey, the things that I should convey, the things that I have to convey, I planned to do it by singing today
From now on too, I want my songs to always carry my message from the stage to you.

A little extra info: About the Inoran thing, Miyavi performed with him at this event called Jack In The Box (http://www.jack-itb.com/report/report.html#16). Okay more info yay! This is all thanks to the very gracious baka neko from the Jrock revolution forums (and other places). Well, of course I can't vouch for this to be 100% true but apparently what happened was that Miyavi messed up during the performance with Inoran so he must be upset about that and probably wants to make sure he'll never mess up again. And apparently, it is Teddy that he's upset with. Seems Teddy lied about working with some other musicians, so obviously that would really piss Meev off. Again, I cannot confirm all this, but I trust that baka neko is reliable source.

It's that time of year again

It's that time of year again,

On ２００８．１２．２４
Officially,
The world tour DVD was released.

Two years ago, ever since I suddenly said, "I'm going to Los [Angeles]"
Somehow or other, with the support of my wonderful friends and fans,
This year, I was able to safely travel around the world.

The DVD includes scenes from that [tour]
And since most are off-shots,
They are not of very high quality but,
Everything I saw as I went around the world,
And everything thing that happened there,
Those scenes are straight from reality.

Of course, I was present during the editing process.

It's just that for this production,
Honestly, I couldn't stay to watch it till the end.

It was too long. (burst of laughter)

I'm just kidding.

I mentioned this before but, on stage in Beijing,
I was deeply touched like I haven't been in a long time.

As I was moving about, I had a flashback of the smiles of the fans,
And all the different scenes and things I saw.

They are all such important memories to me,
As my life scenery is all in one-piece. (1)

And also,
The fact that all of you were also there really touched me.
But even if you were not there
Without all of your support
We couldn't have accomplished anything.

And so, I actually never meant to release this DVD and
We didn't even plan on saving any of the recordings.

The things I saw as I went around the world, the things that happened, what I felt,
As I thought, this production is a way to share that with everyone.

I am truly happy that I could experience so many things.

For myself too, as a Japanese artist,
I am surrounded by a ton of things that I have to do but,

I will achieve much more so continue to watch me a little longer.

Besides that, the Kabuki Boiz have not disbanded.

Of course, we still have a website and,
Right now we're looking for and trying to build a new style.

But no matter what, we are always connected.

We will gather together if someone says they want to book the Kavki Boiz [for a show], or if we find a record company we can even release something. (laughs)

It's just that for me,
My title as "solo artist 雅-miyavi-"
is something I should not lose.

Up till now, I have been struggling with that a lot.

It's not as if it was a burden to me or anything like that,
Rather, it's because that is my reason for living.

As usual, I am laughing as I cry.

And not just the Kavki Boiz, but everyone that has worked with me and influenced me so far,
All of them are very warm and nice people,
So if any of them are doing something, please support them too.

Of course, I feel lonely too but,
At the 3rd January Budokan show, it will be together with TY-chan
And then dancers Noririn and Kouchama,
After such a long time, they will all be coming back!!

Tomorrow is the day to fix the choreography so
I will be sweating it out.

This year's Christmas...
Like always I was at the gym doing training (I added 10 kilograms on the bench yay), I was invited to a party at Gaku-niin's house (in the middle of an amazing tour, work hard!!), and I played the guitar in a public place.

I'm not sure if there is a specific movement for each part of the song but I know that during the chorus they have to spin it around furiously. Seems like a lotta fun.

ey, lovelies.
i had a radio show @Ameba studio in Harajuku the day before yesterday .

there were incredibly so many fans who had been waitin for me
from 5 in the morning (!!) in the fuckin cold outside with relentless rain !!

The day before yesterday, in Harajuku's Ameba studio, I appeared in Takehara-san's (the former world boxing champ) Radioshow.
Although it was cold and raining, from about 5 or 6 in the morning, the ko-tachi [ko-Miyavis] were waiting...

of course, im really really thankful to them !!
but at the same time, it makes me worried so so much, u kno.
(plz dont get a cold, k?)

Although I was really happy, at the same time, I was really worried right?
(I sincerely hope that you don't catch a cold.）

and also it always starts raining fuckin every time when i have a show.
besides, it always stops raining right after im done !!

I'm really thankful that I'm able to do my music peacefully.

To the people who died in Thailand and India, please rest in peace.

Hye guys, I realise that I've not updated for a very long time. ><;;

Ever since Miyavi stoppd posting on the Kavki Boiz Blog, I've been wondering if any of you are still interested in the translations (since his myspace entries are mostly in English anyway). There is some Japanese though, so should I continue translating?

**However, his diary on o-re-sa-ma.com is still mostly Japanese so I will be translating that too, if I continue.

Edit: Hey guys, thanks for replying. I really do enjoy translating the entries, its just that lately things have been hectic so I haven't had the time to keep updating. But I'm really glad that you are still interested and from now on will try my best to keep up :)

Went to Beijing.

It's colder than I thought it would be!!

Yesterday I arrived in Beijing
